Still, I found an article stating that "Microsoft Remote Desktop now natively supports Apple silicon, including Apple's M1 chips" from April of 2021, but I'm wondering if I have misinterpreted the article. No pings, SSH, RDP even HTTP work intranet. I contacted Apple care and they suggested that the M1 chip might be preventing the connection.
